The Caxton Theatre can cater for many access requirements:-
-
On the ground floor there is a wheelchair accessible toilet.
-
There are accessible parking bays in Strand Street leading to a ramped entrance into the theatre.
-
There is a lift that will take patrons from the ground floor to the auditorium level.
-
The main auditorium is fitted with a hearing loop.
-
We have removable seating on the first row for those who might prefer to remain in their wheelchair. (These are seats A11, A12, and A13 [which are removed] plus B13, and B14 for companions to sit behind. Please note - these tickets cannot be ordered online and must be booked directly with the Box Office; the deadline for booking these specific tickets is two weeks prior to the opening night of each production. If they haven’t been purchased by this point, the seats are released for general sale.)
If you have any other requirements, please do not hesitate to ask when booking tickets or speak with a Front of House volunteer when you arrive. We are very friendly people and will help in anyway that is possible.
